It's difficult to 1.) remember to blog on the new blog and 2.) to blog when you are attending a conference or working in general.
Monday's dinner was a brat on a wheat bun with some Terra brand veggie chips and also some grapes. The bun (I think it was the bun and not the chips) gave me an immediate stomach ache.
Tuesday I was at a conference all day. I had my usual breakfast of 3 boiled eggs, an apple and some nuts. I also worked out that morning so I ate my usual oatmeal before the WOD and had a chocolate milk after the WOD. Lunch was at the conference and was a salad with a generous piece of salmon on top. I'm not sure what the dressing was but I only ate a small amount of it. I also had a small dinner roll. For dinner I cooked up some sweet potato hash, fried in coconut oil with onions. In another pan I diced up bacon and cooked it and then threw in some ground meat. When that was cooked, I added it to the hash and set it aside. I then fried eggs that we ate on top of the hash. It was really yummy!
Yesterday, I had half of my usual breakfast on my way to the conference. But then I noticed there was a breakfast buffet already out. So, I had a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. I'm not sure why. I think I was still hungry from the WOD in the morning. I did have my oatmeal before the WOD and chocolate milk after. Nervous eating? For lunch I had the rest of my breakfast and also had some greek yogurt with gluten free granola from the farmer's market. Dinner was at the Natalie Cole concert with Irene. We shared the kale, brussel sprouts, red cabbage salad that also had rotisserie chicken, Parmesan cheese, and a lemon salad dressing. I also had a piece of bread and a half of a snickerdoodle cookie. I also drank a Starbucks black tea lemonade with lunch.
This morning I had my usual breakfast and a chocolate milk. And now I'm drinking a grande almond milk chai with cinnamon syrup. I felt the need for caffeine (and sugar). Sugar is so hard to break. Sigh. As I'm typing this I realize I don't need this drink for any reason. I just wanted it.
I signed up for the dunk tank test on July 12th in Loveland.
